He made the remarks after meeting the head of the Board of Peace, Nikolay Mladenov. 

Meanwhile, Israeli military operations in Gaza continue. 

Two Palestinians were killed in a new Israeli strike in Gaza City. 

Israeli forces also demolished homes and buildings in the eastern part of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. 

The continued military action has drawn strong condemnation from the United Nations, as well as Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye.
