Since Tuesday morning, the workers have halted bus operations on all routes, leaving passengers stranded and causing widespread inconvenience. 

Many travelers, including those with advance tickets, have been unable to reach their destinations.According to the workers, a meeting was held at DC office on Monday to form an election commission for the union committee election.

They protested after representatives from the bus owners' side were proposed for the election commission. 

Following the dispute, the workers rejected the meeting and announced an indefinite work stoppage.
